AARON Siposs followed last week’s 11-goal haul with another eight in trying conditions, helping set up Beaconsfield for a 103-point victory over Narre Warren Foxes and preparing for the finals.

IN THE last home-and-away game Beaconsfield hosted Pakenham in a match that saw first versus third. In a tough and often physical game both teams attacked ferociously and aggressively. With a strong wind favouring one end Pakenham was wasteful in front of goal, whereas Beaconsfield used the wind to its advantage and won the match by 20 points with the same number of scoring shots.

IN THE final round of the season the Beacy team celebrated the 50th milestone game of Dylan Harris who went on to kick the team’s first goal. The match was fought tough by both teams, each desperately trying to secure a strong position on the ladder going into the finals. Cranbourne took the Eagles by 11 points in the end but the Beaconsfield under 12s can hold their heads high after a solid season of football. Beaconsfield finished second on the ladder and plans to come out hard in next week’s first final.

WITH both teams playing for a spot in the finals, round 14 was always going to be a tough game. The Eagles’ intensity for the ball was outstanding with all players tackling and running hard to gain a four-goal lead at half-time. The opposition came out tougher in the second half but Beaconsfield was too strong and won by 26 points for a spot in next week’s finals.
