CYCLISTS from the Casey Human Powered Vehicle Club won five medals at the Victorian Schools Cycling Championships State final on the weekend of 15 and 16 October.
Chloe Imrie, of Berwick Secondary College (BSC) won a silver medal for the women’s under13 novice road race.
Bronze medal winners were Rhiana Wilson, Beaconsfield Primary School, in the women’s under13 racing for experienced riders, Tom Livesay, BSC, men’s under15 novice road race, Briony Russell, St Margaret’s School, women’s under17 novice road race, Georgina Beech, St Margaret’s, women’s under19 novice road race.
Human powered vehicle advocate Terry Trevena coached four of the five riders.
