A SMASH involving two semi-trailers in Nar Nar Goon yesterday (Tuesday) left one man dead and a section of the Princes Highway closed for six hours.
Police say a 35-year-old man from Doreen was killed when the truck he was driving collided with another truck parked on the left side of the highway, near Snell Road, about 5.30am.
A 38-year-old man from Tinamba, the driver of the stationary truck which was carrying a load of pine timber, was uninjured.
Police blocked eastbound lanes on the highway from about 8am to 2pm as they investigated the scene.
Advanced life support paramedics from Pakenham were called to the crash about 5.35am.
