FORMER Cardinia Shire business development manager Des Wynne has been appointed manager of the Berwick Village Chamber of Commerce.
Mr Wynne has a strong network of business and government contacts, and a history of success in capitalising on fundraising opportunities.
He runs a business development and consultancy service and helps with planning and marketing problems.
He provides assistance and expertise in sourcing government grants for business associations, community groups and manufacturers.
Mr Wynne has enjoyed a close association with business and chambers of commerce, and coordinated activities of the Cardinia Business Development Group.
He was also responsible for establishing the very successful Cardinia Ranges Farmers’ Market and for coordinating the Puffing Billy Country Tourism Association.
Mr Wynne is a member of the Rotary Club of Pakenham, the Pakenham Racing Club, is a board member of the Pakenham Aged Care Hostel and Nursing Home, and vicepresident of the treasurer of the Maryknoll Progress Association.
