EMERALD Primary School was the place to be on the weekend when its annual fete was held.
More than 1300 parents, residents and children took the opportunity to enjoy the day. From amusement rides, to stalls and even a pet parade, there was something for everyone.
Principal Mark Carvers said it was an amazing day.
The school raised more than $23,000, which was the most it has ever collected at its annual fete.
Mr Carver said the cash would go towards purchasing more computers for the school.
But he said it was about more than just raising money.
“It was about the school community getting together and celebrating school spirit,” he said.
