AMP’s Pakenham branch teamed with Noble Park RSL to raise almost $22,000 for the MakeAWish Foundation.
The main fundraising events during the sevenmonth project were a charity golf day at the Pakenham Golf Course and a dinner dance at Noble Park RSL.
It was AMP Pakenham’s second year of involvement in the appeal, and it donated $10,000 to go with the $11,673 from Noble Park RSL.
AMP financial planner Michael O’Rourke was excited the funds raised would again be matched by the Pakenham branch of AMP.
“I am proud that with the support of the AMP Foundation we are able to make a real difference to the lives of these children and their families,” he said.
Lyn Murray, fundrasing coordinator with Noble Park RSL, has helped the branch raise more than $80,000 for the MakeAWish Foundation since the project began seven years ago.
