Beacy in a thriller

BEACONSFIELD hosted Pakenham Upper/Toomuc – and posted 130 in 39.4 overs. Craig Jennings top scored for the home side, making 21, while Lucas Plozza, Adam Mitchell and Ben Clough each took two wickets.
In reply, Pakenham Upper/Toomuc fell painfully short, being dismissed for 125 with two overs remaining. Jamie Somers top scored with 25, while Nick Lang bowled well for Beaconsfield, taking 3/12.
Devon Meadows batted first against Tooradin, scoring 7/113 from their 40 overs at Glover Reserve. Brett Armitage top scored with 23, while Adam Galea and Adam Richmond bowled well, taking three wickets each.
In reply, Tooradin passed the score for the loss of seven wickets, with five overs remaining. Andrew Sparks batted well, making 35 not out, while Lincoln Hepburn and Paul Borg bowled well for Devon Meadows, each taking two wickets.
Upper Beaconsfield batted first against Merinda Park, putting 7/151 on the board from their 40 overs. Xavier Gargan batted well, making 41 not out, while Daniel Diwell and Adrian Lawler picked up two wickets each for Merinda Park.
In reply, Merinda Park passed the total with eight wickets down and one over to spare. Lawler and Diwell capped off good games, making 44 and 54 respectively. Ben Henderson bowled well for Upper Beaconsfield, taking 3/13.
Emerald batted first against the strong Kooweerup, but only managed to score 104 from 34 overs. Under 15 batsman Alex Cann batted well, making 27, while Matt Boswell and Andrew Patterson took three wickets each.
In reply, Kooweerup passed the total for the loss of seven wickets, in the 32nd over. Ben Miller top scored with 51 not out, while Glenn Maunder bowled well, taking 3/15 from eight overs.

Pakenham Upper/Toomuc batted first against Pakenham, with Jake Abel scoring 54 to help them post 9/157 in their 40 overs. Terry Smith was the pick of the bowlers for Pakenham, taking 4/27 from six overs.
In reply, Pakenham could only manage 8/100 from their allotted overs. Beau Mason top scored with 22 not out, while Justin Temby bowled well, taking 4/20 from eight overs.
Lyndhurst Vikings took on Officer at Officer, the home side batting first and posting only 83 in 30 overs. David Collins was the only batsman to reach double figures, scoring 34. Malan Weththasinghe bowled well, taking 4/12 from 7.2 overs.
In reply, the Vikings passed the total for the loss of seven wickets, in 34 overs. Andrew Myers top scored with 27, while Adam Reid took 3/16 from his eight overs.
Clyde’s Ross Elston batted beautifully, making his maiden century and helping his side to 8/214 from their 40 overs against Cranbourne Meadows. Elston finished with 105, while Harvindar Gakhal and Jason Viney took two wickets each for Cranbourne Meadows.
The total was far too great for Cranbourne Meadows, who could only manage 88 from 27.1 overs. Gary Visscher bowled well, taking 6/16, while Hussan Mehmood was the only batsman to reach double figures, making 29.
Catani batted first against Cardinia, scoring 7/172 from their 40 overs. Chris Duncan led from the front with 68, while Matt Hobson bowled well for Cardinia, taking 4/37 from seven overs.
In reply, Cardinia were bundled out for 100, with Darren Thorn and Matt Hobson making 26 and 25 respectively. Tom Coupe continued his good form, taking 4/12 with the ball.

Kooweerup hosted Beaconsfield, with the visitors batting first, posting 7/179 from their 40 overs. Matt McBride led the way with 53, while six bowlers each picked up a wicket for Kooweerup.
In reply, Kooweerup were bundled out for just 34, as Greg Butler went bananas, ripping through the batting line-up, taking 5 wickets for just one run in his 4.1 overs.
Pakenham Upper/Toomuc batted first against Pakenham, putting 4/160 on the board. Craig Spicer led from the front with 38, while Mark Bowman bowled well, taking 2/20 from five overs.
In reply, Pakenham finished 5/176 from their 40 overs, thanks to 62 runs from Matt McCormick.
Nar Nar Goon/Maryknoll set Merinda Park the total of 8/132 from their allotted overs, Bryan Woodley top scoring with 32. Shaun Hughes and David Field bowled well, picking up two wickets each.
In reply, Merinda Park finished on 7/141 from 38 overs, Mark McCalman making 54, while Tyler Guan bowled well to take three wickets.
Emerald batted first against Nyora, being bowled out for just 88. Andrew Collis bowled well for Nyora, taking 3/13 from 6.3 overs.
In reply, Nyora passed the total in the 29th over, losing six wickets. Peter Jensen top scored with 39. No details were submitted from Emerald.

Officer batted first against Clyde, making 130 before being bowled out in the 33rd over. Eric Buchler top scored with 46, while Richard Bertram did the damage with the ball, taking 3/22 from five overs.
In reply, Clyde were bowled out for 93 in 21.3 overs. Darren Tanner and Gary Moses both made 29, but Jesse Longmuir bowled too well, taking 4/3 from 4.1 tight overs.
Upper Beaconsfield’s John Kett made 73 and helped his side reach 4/155 against Merinda Park.
In reply, Merinda Park were all out for 115 in 35.4 overs. Ken Rickard scored 31 and John Kett finished a good game for Upper Beaconsfield, taking 2/4 from three overs.
Mark Hosking from Devon Meadows knocked up 55, helping his side reach 8/125 against Tooradin. Under 15 Andrew Proctor bowled well for Tooradin, taking 2/8 from eight overs.
In reply, Andrew Proctor then hit the ball to all parts, making 46 and guiding his team to victory, passing the total for the loss of six wickets in 39 overs. Neil Baker bowled well, taking 2/14 from eight for Devon Meadows.
Lang Lang batted first against Emerald, posting 125 in 37 overs. Mark Hutchison top scored with 30, while Cam Williams bowled well, taking 3/16 from five overs. In reply, Emerald were bowled out for 63 in 33 overs, thanks to 5/21 from Glenn Easton.

Pakenham chalked up the big total of 8/190 from their 40 overs against Pakenham Upper/Toomuc, with Richard Saniga top scoring with 78. Brent Maddock and John Barrow bowled well, taking three wickets each.
In reply, Pakenham Upper/Toomuc were bowled for 113. Jon Rewell top scored with 41, while Andrew Ratcliffe bowled well in taking 3/25.
Beaconsfield were sent in to bat against Emerald, and made 8/123 from their 40 overs. Wayne Holden top scored with 28 and Jason Reily bowled well, taking 3/9 from four overs.
In reply, Emerald could only manage 98, Paul Reily top scoring with 34.
SFX batted first against Gembrook, Dwayne Scott scoring 29 and helping them to 129 from 32.2 overs. Martin Williams bowled well, taking 3/11 from 3.2 overs.

Chasing the target, Nar Nar Goon/ Maryknoll fell short, scoring 7/104 from their allotted overs. David Nutting made a comeback, taking 2/12 from eight overs.
