CFA is on the ball

LAST week I was speaking with the local CFA captain on the subject of fire protection for Upper Beaconsfield and it was expressed that most probably few people had prepared their fire plans.
This week I have received a most comprehensive package from the Fire Services Commissioner.
It contained an Upper Beaconsfield Community Preparedness Guide with reference emergency phone numbers and advice.
A template for a fire plan was supplied and a map of the area, not to mention a fridge magnet with the fire rating warnings.
What a difference a week makes!
Well done CFA, you have put a lot of thought into this dispatch making it possible for everyone to easily create their own fire plan.
