Vote for local tradie Chris.Vote for local tradie Chris.

By Emma Sun
TRADIE Chris Carlos Haines has his eyes on the prize, in the form of a new Toyota Hilux ute.
The 19-year-old plasterer from Pakenham entered RSVP’s Hottest Tradie competition with hopes of trading his VT wagon for the Hilux.
“It would be good to have a new work vehicle,” Chris said.
The competition is open to all tradesmen nation-wide and has seen over 120 entries from the Victoria and Tasmania category, representing over a third of the total entries.
All entrants put up a photo of themselves as well as a brief bio. Finalists are chosen based on how many votes they receive from the public.
Chris has copped a fair bit of taunting from his mates because of the competition.
“Mainly my mates bag me about it,” he said.
“But some of my friends are being supportive.”
To vote for Chris, or check out his competition, visit www.hottesttradie.com.au. Voting closes on 8 March at midnight.
