Ladies golf a winner

DROUIN Golf Club took part in the L’Oreal Paris’ milestone celebration of six years sponsorship of women’s golf in Australia on Tuesday, 15 November.
Forty ladies played in the sixth annual L’Oreal Paris Ladies Cup, vying for L’Oreal Paris skin care prize packs.
The event is popular across Australia, with more than 150,000 women golfers taking part since the tournament’s inception six years ago.
Maisee Mooney, chief executive of Women’s Golf Australia, acknowledged L’Oreal’s ongoing support of Australian women’s golf at the grass-roots level.
“I commend it for recognising the importance of supporting golf at a club-based level,” she said.
The A-grade winner was Shirley Todd with a score of 75 nett and runner-up was Diane Sullivan with 76 nett.
The B-grade winner was Jenny Snape with a score of 69 nett with the runner-up Glenda Warren 74 nett.
Other winners of L’Oreal Paris skin care packs were Patricia Betheras and Peg Hocking.
The competition will continue across Australia until the end of the year.
