Australian native orchid talk and plant sale

A TALK by Murray Harding on Australian native orchids will be held at the monthly meeting of the Australian Plants Society at Wilson Botanic Park, Princes Highway, Berwick on Tuesday 12 July at 7.45pm in the administrative building.
Murray Harding is a lifelong orchid enthusiast, and an active contributor to the Victorian native orchid society with articles, talks and attending orchid shows.
He has found many new varieties of orchid through seed propagation.
Australian native orchids are quite easy to grow and give spectacular results in flowering time.
The Australian Plants Society maintains the native plants in the Wilson Botanic Park carpark. It holds an annual plant sale on 3 September.
Come along to a meeting and see what’s in flower to brighten the cold Winter months.
All are welcome and supper will be served at the conclusion of the evening.
For details please contact Joy Buck on 5998 7608.
