THE WGCA Warriors could enter Country Week 2012 without a competitive hit out, after the Box Hill Reporter league pulled out of this Sunday’s practice match at Endeavour Hills.
Co-ordinator Rick Holland is looking at alternatives for the team, but with a hectic schedule looming -including next week’s T20 final- nothing is guaranteed.
It’s not all bad news for the Warriors with several key players finding form on the weekend. Neil Barfuss, Ben Maroney and Callum O’Hare all fared well with the willow, while Lukas Hoogenboom and Dom Paynter showed good signs with the ball.
