A MAN was trapped for an hour after a collision between the truck he was driving and another truck on the Princes Highway.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman said two trucks collided at around 11am on Tuesday morning and that the sole occupant of the truck was air lifted to hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Shayne Honey, from the Pakenham Road Rescue Unit, said crews worked for about an hour to free the man.
“The unit had to winch the truck off the front truck to be able to free the man,” Mr Honey said.
“We had to use hydraulic tools to then cut him free.”
