Carol Norman (left) and Tara Wilson with their work in Carol’s art studio.FORMER Berwick Primary School assistant principal Carol Norman and daughter Tara Wilson will be part of a fourartist exhibition at the Old Cheese Factory, Homestead Road, Berwick.
Artists Bronwyn Spark and Lisa Lloyd will also show at the four artists’ journey in art, dubbed ‘This Could Be Legendary’.
Carol began painting 10 years ago after encouragement from Tara and learnt her first brush strokes from teacher Fiona Bilbrough.
She also learnt from Alice Bale awardwinner Brian Armstrong.
Carol said she had always been interested in art.
Tara is a nurse who finds time to paint. She also learnt from Fiona Bilbrough and Brian Armstrong.
Tara also spent several months studying art at the Charles Cecil studio in Florence, Italy.
“This has been a great interest for me to share with my mother,” she said.
Bronwyn said she had been interested in art since the early 1990s.
She is experienced in life drawing, oils and pastels and has also worked with Brian Armstrong.
Lisa has been painting since the 1990s and studied with a variety of teachers including Fiona Bilbrough and Brian Armstrong.
She exhibited successfully in the Melbourne Affordable Art Show at the Exhibition Building last year.
Carol said their painting was very important to the artists.
The exhibition is open daily from Friday, 10 February to Sunday 19 February.
