St John’s Anglican Church

ST JOHN’S Anglican Church is at 1 St. Georges Road (corner of Emerald and St. Georges Road), Upper Beaconsfield. Phone 5944 3862.
Service Times
This Sunday the Bible teaching by Rev. Iain Hanson will be from Ezekiel chapter 1.
8:30am Prayer Book and Holy Communion
This service is more traditional in music and service style. It has Holy Communion every week and the service is conducted from the Australian Prayer Book.
10am Family Service
This meeting is for everyone from the youngest babies to the grandpas and grandmas. It is a more relaxed service with a combination of modern and traditional music. It includes Kid’s church, for five year olds upto primary, (which is held once a fortnight during the service) and there is a Babies Room available for parents with babies and children (up to four years old).
This room is packed with toys to entertain the little ones and has a sound system so that you can hear the whole service while in there.
Why not come to St. John’s and meet the people here (St. John’s is only six minutes up the hill from Beaconsfield), who are known for their warm and friendly welcome to everyone – we’d love to see you.
OP Shop
We run an Op Shop on Mondays and Thursday from 9am-noon. We have a variety of things to sell, from clothes to crockery, books, videos, shoes, pictures, magazines, furniture. Come along and visit us, and join us in a cup of tea or coffee.
Marriages and Baptisms
St. John’s has always been a popular place to hold weddings. If you would like to make inquiries about having your wedding here, please contact the office on 5944 3862 (answer machine) and leave a message. Any inquiries about Baptisms should also contact the Office. For more information about weddings and baptisms please look at our web site on Stjac.org.au
