Forget the eggs, now it’s green goo

GREEN goo seems to have become the new weapon of choice for vandals after an attack on a car in Pakenham last week.
Police said the victim had parked her car behind Mitre 10 on John Street last Thursday.
When she returned to her car she found it had been squirted with a green goo substance.
After cleaning it off she noticed one of the car’s headlights had also been smashed.
The incident happened some time between 12.45pm and 4.45pm on 16 February.
Police said there were no suspects at this stage.
The vandalism is the latest in an unusual spate of attacks in Pakenham.
A number of homes and businesses were attacked with eggs recently, including Cardinia Shire councillor Kate Lempriere, whose Pakenham house was repeatedly targeted.
Anyone with information about the vandalism should contact Pakenham CIU on 5941 1033 or CrimeStoppers on 1800 333 000.
