Park remains popular

WILSON Botanic Park has continuing activities ranging from the popular Valentine’s Day picnic, jazz and swing music, weddings and picnics.
Music can be heard in the Berwick park every Sunday afternoon and there is more than three kilometres of walking trails that meander amid native and exotic gardens, and lakes.
The lookout tower has spectacular views of Casey and Port Phillip Bay.
Park facilities include a bird hide, event amphitheatre, rose garden, lakeside picnic lawn, children’s playground and electric barbecues.
The park is used extensively over the summer season for weddings, naming ceremonies and photographs.
Bookings are essential and fees apply.
Visitors are welcome to bring their dog for a walk in the park, but dogs must be on a lead at all times.
The park is open daily, except Christmas Day and Good Friday, from 7am to 5pm and to 8pm during daylight savings. Entry is free.
