HARKAWAY rider Megan Joyce won the Akoonah Park Stars of the Future Junior rider at the Berwick Show.
The Akoonah Park committee initiated the award three years ago to recognise and encourage young riders and more than 40 riders contested this year’s event.
Megan had a successful show also winning the D Grade Show jumping competition on her mare Lady Invader and narrowly missing the Ern Barker leading rider in show, which was won by Brad Trewin from Upper Beaconsfield on Miss Sully.
