Birdies can fly with eagles

VISITORS will be able to get a bird’s eye view of how professionals tackle the course at the Beaconhills Golf Club Pro AM.
Pop by the Beaconhills Country Golf Club this Friday, 3 March with tee off at 8am and 1pm. Admission is free.
Spectators can also enjoy a free concert on the lawn at 7.30pm with smash hits from the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s by the Love Bugs.
The Beaconhills Golf Club Pro AM is held annually and sees up and coming and established golf professionals compete to win their share of the $10,000 coveted prize pool.
Last year the event was named best Pro AM of the year by the Professional Golfers Association (PGA).
Beaconhills Country Golf club manager Danie Myers said: “It was a great achievement by the Pro AM team as we all worked hard to deliver an exceptional event to celebrate Beaconhills 5th Pro AM in 2005.
The golf club is located on Stoney Creek Road in Upper Beaconsfield.
