BEACONSFIELD’S Agrade team came out on top of an excellent contest with Devon Meadows on Saturday, winning by 11 goals.
Brittany Henry played a top game, while Sarah Hogan and Tina Robbins held up the defence strongly.
Kellie Holland ran relentlessly. Mel Davies and Sarah Murphy capitalised on turnovers and Jacinta Goldsack fed well.
Scores: Beaconsfield 53 d Devon Meadows 42.

B GRADE

Beaconsfield played disciplined netball and continued its winning form against a flustered Devon Meadows.
For four consistent quarters and with a few rotations all girls never gave up.
Scores: Beaconsfield 62 d Devon Meadows 34.

C GRADE

In what was four good, consistent quarters of netball, Beaconsfield took home the four points.
The shooters rotated court time and all combinations proved successful, with great rebounding and positioning under the ring.
The midcourt jelled beautifully, letting off their passes quickly and accurately, while feeding brilliantly into the goalers.
The defence placed a lot of pressure on the ball, with many intercepts and rebounds creating effective turnovers.
Scores: Beaconsfield 56 d Devon Meadows 17.
Best on court: Emma Rowe.

17 AND UNDER

With a few weeks’ break, the Beacy under17 team was determined for a win with the finals still a chance.
The midcourt worked well to bring the ball down the court and were there to back each other up on every pass.
The defenders had arms over every pass that created many turnovers. The goalers combined and moved well together.
Scores: Beaconsfield 29 d Devon Meadows 25.

15 AND UNDER

Beaconsfield played a solid game Devon Meadows for a good win.
The shooters opened a great break in the first, allowing the freedom to mix it up a bit. Caitlyn Budge and TerriAnne Sutherland played well.
Beaconsfield’s defence was solid all day, limiting the opportunities at goal.
Terry Darby intercepted beautifully a couple of times and Alex O’Sullivan provided solid drive. All midcourt players played well, feeding the ball into attack and getting off the line at each centre.
Molly Veltmeyer and Melissa Rooke, also played well.
Scores: Beaconsfield 33 d Devon Meadows 9.

13 AND UNDER

An excellent display of netball by Beaconsfield for four quarters.
