ANZAC Park at Bunyip is being given a new lease on life.
Work has started on improvements to the park which are valued at $100,000.
Work is expected to be completed by the end of April.
The work will include new paving to provide better access for park users as well as new park benches.
Safety improvements are also being made with the removal of trees.
Cardinia Shire’s Bunyip Ward councillor Bill Pearson said once works were complete, the park would have a fresh, new look.
“These improvements will be great for the local traders as well as community members, giving people an ideal setting to take a seat, time out and have a chat,” Cr Pearson said.
