THE diverse talents, achievements and contributions of the young people will be celebrated during National Youth Week from 1 to 9 April.
Cardinia Shire Council’s youth services coordinator Tom Kuster said National Youth Week was an annual celebration of young people and a great opportunity for Cardinia Shire to join the rest of Australia in recognising the contributions young people make.
“It is also an ideal opportunity for young people to showcase their talents and highlight issues that are important to them,” Mr Kuster said.
“Events and activities are planned and developed by young people, for young people.”
Young people in Cardinia will be able to celebrate National Youth Week by taking part in the biggest skate and BMX competition to come to the shire.
To register interest, contact Connections, Grassmere Youth Services on 5940 2885.
People aged between 12 to 25 can contact the Cardinia Shire Youth Services Team to register their interest.
