TWOtime Telstra businesswoman of the year finalist Sue Barrett will be keynote speaker at the Casey Business Development Group’s (CBDG) April networking breakfast.
The breakfast will be held at Oliver’s on Clyde, at the Corner Clyde and Homestead Road, Berwick, from 7am to 8.30pm on Wednesday, 5 April.
Ms Barrett’s theme will be ‘Ice to Eskimos — selling skills for entrepreneurs’.
CBDG secretary Isobel Caulfield said attracting sales was critical to the success of any business.
“Sue Barrett will reveal that there are no tricks or secrets when it comes to selling ice to the eskimos,” she said.
“Sue will discuss why sales matters to business, what things you need to have in place to sell effectively as well as how not to sell, and how fear kills most people’s sales performance.”
Within two years of starting her consultancy, Sue had won the Telstra and Victorian Government Small Business Award.
“Sue’s achievements stem from her and her team’s ability to demystify the practices around achieving sustainable sales performance.
“Book early for this breakfast as places are normally limited. Don’t forget the business cards for the networking opportunities.”
Bookings can be made with Isobel on 9702 2211.
