THREE burglaries and a spate of vandalism in the last 18 months have forced the Pakenham Upper Cricket Club to increase security in their clubrooms at Harry Blackburne Oval.
The latest breakin two weeks ago was the last straw and forced the club to install an alarm system.
Club president Carla Price said the incidents were frustrating for all members and cost the club vital dollars.
“They have stolen a television, alcohol, a portable telephone and melted a bin on our cricket pitch,” Ms Price said.

Club volunteers have also had to spend extra time securing the clubrooms and ensuring the bar and other important equipment is safe within the premises.
