A MAN was airlifted to hospital after the car he was driving lost control in Nar Nar Goon.
Police said the 40yearold Flemington man had been driving an unregistered car when it lost control on Racecourse Road, ending up in a ditch on the side of the road.
The man was airlifted to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with serious injuries.
He had a broken collarbone, laceration to the head and had lost a lot of blood. He has since been discharged from hospital.
Police said the man would be questioned for a range of traffic offences.
