Fun days for the family

CASEY Council has invited families to be part of a Dad and Daughter Fun Day or Girls Weekend Away.
Casey manager of youth and community development Janette Green is encouraging parents and carers of daughters aged 11 to 16 to consider participating in either program.
“The family challenge camp for mothers or caregivers and their daughters continues to be a popular program, which is why we are also running a dad and daughter day this year,” she said.
“This will give fathers or caregivers and their daughters a special opportunity to enhance their relationship.”
Ms Green said the dad and daughter day on Sunday, 23 April would involve lots of outdoor activities including two hedge mazes, mini golf, frisbee and other games at Hedgend Maze in Healesville.
“The girls weekend away for mothers, caregivers and daughters on Saturday, 20 May and Sunday, 21 May at Manyung Recreation Camp in Mount Eliza features outdoor activities, such as ropes courses and canoeing.
“It will also have free time to relax, manicures, facials and a trivia night.”
