PAKENHAM started the season at home but the first round found depleted numbers.
In some teams, after lastminute shuffling, several players played above their age level to ensure all teams were fully represented but the Lions won all matches.
In A grade Hampton Park handed Pakenham a forfeit.
Pakenham changed its uniforms to new lycra suits, which looked impressive in the traditional Lions colours.
