Coby Willis shines offroad

KOOWEERUP Motorcycle Club young gun Coby Willis claimed fourth place in the second round of the Australian OffRoad Series at Albury last weekend.
Willis, on his KTM race bike, came in only 13 seconds behind Josh Green (Honda), with the the two top positions going to Myles Bowen (Husky) and Luka Bussa (Yamaha).
Willis managed to stay on his bike for most of the weekend and praised organisers after the event.
“Dirt Bike Promotions did a great job setting out the course at AlburyWodonga,” he said.
“The course suited me a lot better than the first round and my times showed that. I was happy with the way I rode, apart from a couple of small crashes which put me back to fourth for the weekend.”
Willis was happy with the way his KTM 250SXF performed and there were some big powdery ruts which he managed to pull through nicely.
His next race will be in round three of the Australian OffRoad Series in Queensland on 20 and 21 May.
