With his high flying and uncanny judgement Brent Mounsey is one of the glamour players in the EDFL.
Mounsey was the league’s leading goalkicker last season with 86 goals but injuries have kept his tally down to 49 so far this season.
The former Warragul and Gippsland Power junior played 90 senior games with the Gulls before joining Catani in 2002 and has played 70 games in the navy blue.
Highlight: Last season’s grand final victory.
Lowlight: Losing the 2003 grand final.
Favourite ground: Catani and Kooweerup.
Worst ground: Longwarry (despite us winning the grand final there).
Best local players seen: Paul Alger (Catani), Robert Ballingall (Ellinbank) and Ryan Flack (Warragul).
What’s good about modern football: The pace, skill and fitness.
What’s not: The inconsistency of the umpiring.
