GARFIELD Netball Club had to forfeit in A grade against Warragul at the weekend, leaving it with two wins from the round of games.

B GRADE

Garfield won a hardfought match against an extremely talented opposition. Jackie Collis played her usual steady game, using skill and maturity to overcome her younger opponent. She was aptly supported by Di Collis, who combined strategic positioning to win the ball in the goal ring with accurate shooting. Garfield played well despite the strength displayed by Warragul. Kassie Burge and Hayley Wright continue to be strong in defence creating turnovers and being the ball down the court. Jessie Scamporlino, Bianca Henwood and Katie O’Dea combined to deliver a number of great passages of play into the goal ring. Brooke Cousin and Bianca Collis worked together well in the goal ring before a change to the lineup at halftime.
