BERWICK Netball Club played Cranbourne at the weekend and came away with three wins, including an Agrade thriller.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:A GRADE

Berwick had an impressive victory against Cranbourne last week in a tight contest all day. Berwick were trailing by five goals at the first break but managed to regroup in the second quarter and level scores at halftime. Berwick was steady in the second half and defenders created many turnovers. Sue Roberts and Vanessa San Jose goaled accurately into a strong wind.
Scores: Berwick 47 d Cranbourne 43.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:B GRADE

Berwick came up against a tall Cranbourne side last Saturday. The first quarter was a close contest with scores 12all at quartertime. Jenny Randle at goalkeeper was outstandingly well supported by Emma Ray at goal defence. Belinda Walshe and Sharon Bahn shot great goals in difficult conditions. The players gave 100 per cent.
Scores: Berwick 37 lost to Cranbourne 46.
Best: Jenny Randle.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:C GRADE

Berwick came away with a convincing win over Cranbourne. The defensive pressure down the court was excellent and the goalers capitalised on the turnovers in a great team performance.
Scores: Berwick 40 d Cranbourne 25.
Best: Nicole Liddle.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:15 AND UNDER

After a strong start Berwick attackers led hard to the ball and created many opportunities for the goalers. Berwick had a onegoal lead at halftime but eventually lost by 12 goals.
Scores: Berwick 20 lost to Cranbourne 32.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:13 AND UNDER

Berwick had a great win with all players contributing. With determination and persistence the defensive end was tight and great movement through the centre court set up the goalers for an accurate game.
Scores: Berwick 30 d Cranbourne 25.
