Points win for red hot team

THE Friday Red Points teams competition was completed at Berwick Bridge Club on 12 August.
Congratulations to the winning team members, Ashley Davies, Heather Saunders, Shirley Collins and David Yoffa. Second were Win Roynon, Gwyn Hughes, Dunstan Coorey and Clive Wilson. Third were Dianne Nicol, Julie Day, Jean Carter and Henk Van der Ven.
Both grades played a Howell movement on Monday, 8 August.
A grade winners were George Ashby and Peter Ditchfield. Second were Matthew Tiplady and Julie Day with Judith McDonald and Adelaide Metzer third. B grade was won by Faye Rowlands and Joyce Garton.
Second were Richard Poole and Gwyn Hughes with May Foley and Peg Bellair third. A 10table Mitchell was played on Wednesday, 10 August. East/west was won by Heather Saunders and Ashley Davies.
North/south winners were Roger Littlehales and Arthur Perera.
