MR SUMMERS, I only deal with facts not sarcasm, facts don’t lie and cannot be changed no matter how hard you try.
Fact 1: My wife’s name is Deborah and her maiden name wasn’t Winton.
Fact 2: Cr Ross has spent $14,661.43 of ratepayers’ money obtaining a diploma in business management – I am glad we agree on that.
Fact 3: Cr Ross’s total “fuel expenses” claimed from 2011-’13 was $28,319.69, being for in excess of 28,000 kilometres
Fact 4: All costs were obtained from Cardinia Council website under “Councillors Expense Register”.
Fact 5: Mr D. Evans, Manager Governance Cardinia Council, has confirmed in writing Cr Ross did claim fuel expenses while driving to Swinburne College from 2011-’13.
Cr Ross represents the smallest ward within the shire; the majority of this ward is urban, not rural.
It is not unreasonable for ratepayers to request Cr Ross please provide the fuel he claimed while travelling to Swinburne College over the period of 2011-’13?
Ratepayers await our reply, Cr Ross.
Andrew McNabb,
Officer.
Just the facts, ma’am
