Costly lapse for Catani

A THIRDquarter lapse proved costly for Catani on Saturday and the Blues went down to Nyora by 53 points.
In the wet and slippery conditions of the first half, Catani matched its opponents as both sides battled hard to win the ball.
Scoring became difficult and at halftime only a goal separated the sides.
With the rain stopping during the break, it was Nyora that got its game going in the third term, scoring a number of unanswered goals and building up a winning lead by threequarter time.
The final term had the Blues putting up a better contest, but they were were unable to make up any ground.
Scores: Catani 8.15.63 lost to Nyora 17.14.116.
Best: Luke Tymensen, Shane McFarlane, Aaron Alger, Owen Fitzpatrick, Glenn Hall, Andrew Stockx.
