Goon wins over the Bank

NAR Nar Goon travelled to Ellinbank and came away with mixed results.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:A GRADE

Scores: Nar Nar Goon 48 d Ellinbank 32.
Best: Maisie Noonan.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:B GRADE

The Goon played a great game in wet conditions with four 17andunder players, Chantelle Joosten, Mirae Payroli, Prue Evans and Taryn Salisbury, who all played fabulously.
The team worked the ball well from the centre and goaled well with a heavy ball.
The defence was superb and all players caused turnovers.
Salisbury was best on court with a great game at centre.
Scores: Nar Nar Goon 43 d Ellinbank 30.
Best: Taryn Salisbury.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:C GRADE

Nar Nar Goon’s defensive game was good with Tracey O’Neill and Rebecca Pimm taking many intercepts, but didn’t capitalise on these opportunities and had too many unforced errors to come away with the win.
Scores: Ellinbank 26 d Nar Nar Goon 20.
Best: Tracey O’Neill.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:17 AND UNDER

Nar Nar Goon tried hard all day with the Goon finally taking a threegoal lead late in the last quarter, however the Goon missed opportunities, combined with bad passing, and Ellinbank came back hard to finish with a draw.
Scores: Nar Nar Goon 29 drew with Ellinbank 29.
Award: E&C Joinery Sarah Van Boxtel.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:15 AND UNDER

Nar Nar Goon played a consistent game, all players contributing well. Jessica Benn came back into the side and made great intercepts.
The attack had a new structure with Ashlee Dore unable to play, however the Goon adjusted well, feeding nicely to goalers Meaghan Douglas and Jenna Noonan, who combined beautifully.
Scores: Nar Nar Goon 32 d Ellinbank 9.
Awards: Gloria Jean’s Coffee Jenna Noonan.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:13 AND UNDER

The first quarter was goalforgoal but the Goon struggled to break away.
