Bad signs

I refer readers to the back page of Signpost community magazine.
The Baillieu/Napthine government has allowed cattle grazing in the Alpine National Park, delayed the plan to save the Murray, got rid of the 155 water target, extended the duck hunting season, removed funding for Environment Victoria, scrapped the Climate Communities Fund that’s designed to help communities cut emissions, made it harder to build a wind farm and slashed the solar feed-in tariff, breaking an election promise.
When one reads the taxpayer funded advert by Brad Battin promoting his government’s environment credentials by using a $2.2 million dollar weeding project, the terms ‘desperate’ and ‘pitiful’ come to mind.

Berwick.
