KOOWEERUP Netball Club’s Dgrade team combined well to down Lang Lang by 19 goals at the weekend.
A slow start from both the Demons and Lang Lang saw the scores even at quarter time.
In the second quarter, Kooweerup began to play consistent netball and Erin Pellissier and Jacqui Adamson played well in attack with some good goals.
Jordan Legg and Jade Farrell did well and produced some good turnovers.
Amanda Crowley worked tirelessly all game and the defence of Jensey Thompson and Alicia Radings were excellent.
Scores: Kooweerup 34 d Lang Lang 15.

E GRADE

It was a tight start by both teams with Kooweerup’s attack of Sam Belsham and Laura De Hommell not making the most of their shots on goal. The defence of Kassy Male and Mariah Bell looked solid.
In the second quarter the attack structure changed with positive results with Shanae Ingram and Sam on target.
Jade Williams showed speed across court, getting the ball out Megan Bugg with ease.
Good tight netball after the long break saw both teams showing some physical presence and the ball was being delivered into the Demon’s attack with poise, Emily Harrison, Laura and Shanae all combining well.
In the last quarter, with Jade and Shanae Ingram both being rested, the team needed to lift a gear.
Stephanie Kelly set up some good plays into attack. Sam and Laura each got a couple of goals.
Scores: Kooweerup 35 d Lang Lang 25.
