NAR Nar Goon travelled to Nyora for the day’s competition and came away with wins in all grades.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:A GRADE

A solid performance by all players sealed a great win for the Goon. Missed goals were costly and the score didn’t reflect the scoring opportunities the Goon had. Stacey Cooper and Maisie Noonan drove well through midcourt and passed well into the ring. Narelle Walker and Linsey Boddy worked well in defence. It was a great win for A grade despite the absence of Meg Evans and Sam Hodge who were unavailable due to their commitments with the Storm.
Scores: Nar Goon 46 d Nyora 35.
Best: Narelle Walker.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:B GRADE

In a fine team effort Goon put in attacking the play down the court. Jess Fry lead well, passed well and dominated the mid court. Rebecca Murphy shot accurately and created pressure in the ring in a pleasing result.
Scores: Nar Nar Goon 48 d Nyora 42.
Best: Rebecca Murphy, Jessica Fry.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:C GRADE

Nar Nar Goon put in a fine effort in what was a physical game. Every player contributed to many great passages of play down the court after the team got a flying start and was able to keep the lead.
Scores: Nar Nar Goon 27 d Nyora 21.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:17 AND UNDER

Nar Nar Goon took control in the first quarter but had a poor second quarter with bad passing and bad decisions allowing Nyora to take control in the second. The Goon then had to fight back in the third quarter and regain the lead, continuing to fight hard in the last quarter.
Scores: Nar Nar Goon 30 d Nyora 26.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:15 AND UNDER

Nar Nar Goon played a consistent game against Nyora with all players contributing well. Defenders Georgia Keysers, Jessica Benn and Haley Dore caused many turnovers and gave plenty of opportunities to goalers Ashlee Dore and Meaghan Douglas who capitalised on most of them.
Scores: Nar Nar Goon 52 d Nyora 4.
Gloria Jeans award: Meaghan Douglas.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:13 AND UNDER

In wintry conditions the Goon got a quick start and kept Nyora goalless in the first quarter. The Goon to control most of the play and take home the points.
Scores: Nar Nar Goon 15 d Nyora 7.
