Centuryold milestone for Madge

BERWICK’S Madge Dunn celebrated her 100th birthday at Stephenson House Berwick last Sunday with nearly 100 relatives and friends.
Mrs Dunn was born Madge Potter, at Minyip on 22 August, 1905.
She married Thorold Dunn in 1929 and because of his work they lived in several districts throughout Victoria.
Thorold was a Commercial Bank officer and this led to the couple enjoying several homes throughout Victoria, including Numurkah and King Island.
Their last appointment was at Neerim South and during this time they formed an attachment to the Berwick area.
The couple loved bowling and the village atmosphere at Berwick.
They retired in 1965 to 4 Harkaway Road, Berwick, and became a wellloved couple in the community.
