Hardfought matches for ROC

ROC and Cranbourne met hard and fast in an intense A Grade netball game, resulting in a sixpoint win for ROC.
The team displayed accurate passages of play down the court, gaining many intercepts along the way.
Both teams worked equally hard, resulting in a halftime lead of one goal to ROC.
Excellent defensive effort and some brilliant goals in the final quarter saw ROC draw away.
All players should be renowned for their hard work, as ROC lost to Cranbourne by 19 points in their last match.
Score: ROC 44 d Cranbourne 38.

B GRADE

This game was an amazing spectacle and a credit to both ROC and Cranbourne.
Both teams were strong and played out a tough game.
The lead fluctuated for the entire four quarters, with the scores almost even at halftime.
The defensive effort was again good all the way down the court with Jodie Evans and Davina Milnes goaling accurately.
ROC drew away from Cranbourne in the final half to win by six goals.
The team is showing awesome form and great versatility, and the club said it would be a force in the finals.
Score: ROC 50 d Cranbourne 44.

C GRADE

ROC started the game off well, with all players playing with great fervour despite a stronger opposition.
The attack worked well with some nice passes to the goalers.
ROC was down to Cranbourne at halftime by nine goals, but continued to stand up to the strong pressure of Cranbourne and played a dedicated game.
The defence played a tough game, and created many turnovers and opportunities.
Score: Cranbourne 38 d ROC 14.

UNDER 17

ROC put up a terrific display against Cranbourne, with the team playing its best game of the season.
The team utilised every pass and turnover, and kept control of the ball.
An even halftime score saw an intense final half played with both teams working hard.
Defensive pressure was constant from both ends of the court, with goalers playing with quick agility.
However, ROC came up as the winner by two goals.
Score: ROC 19 d Cranbourne 17.

UNDER 15

In a brilliant start to the game all ROC players showed great determination.
However, the team struggled to keep up with the strong Cranbourne side in the first half, falling 14 points behind.
Despite this, ROC continued to put in 100 per cent, the players proving their versatility and strength of mind.
Score: Cranbourne 50 d ROC 12.

UNDER 13

ROC had a slow start during the first quarter, however the players reimbursed themselves during the second term.
Cranbourne provided a tough opposition for the ROC players, whose unwavering determination drove them on.
The defenders played an excellent game, taking many intercepts against a stronger opposition.
Score: Cranbourne 36 d ROC 10.
