A PAKENHAM man suffered serious facial injuries when he was set upon by a group of six men and bashed over the head with a red baseball bat early last Saturday morning.
Police said the 25yearold was riding his BMX along Racecourse Road about 12.30am when six youths approached the man near Simon Drive.
The victim was taken to Casey Hospital with serious injuries to his eyes, cheek and nose.
Anyone who may have witnessed the attack is asked to contact Pakenham Police on 5941 1033.
