Pakenham fails in finals

IT was a bad day for Pakenham Netball Club in preliminary finals on Sunday with the Cgrade, 15 and under and 13 and under teams all losing hardfought games.
However Pakenham still has flag hopes with its Agrade and 17 and under teams playing in grand finals against Tooradin this Saturday.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:C GRADE

The match started well against Berwick and could have gone either way. However, despite changes, Berwick was too good on the day.
Scores: Pakenham 20 lost to Berwick 26.
@BT Sub Sport Gaz:15 AND UNDER

Pakenham started well and the game was close with all positions contested.
Pakenham’s teamwork was strong and the centre court moved the ball well with good driving onto the goal ring.
Cranbourne kept up the pressure and Pakenham’s decision making became hesitant and forced some passes.
Scores: Pakenham 29 lost to Cranbourne 32.
@BT Sub Sport Gaz: 13 AND UNDER

It has been a great effort from the under 13 team to make it to preliminary final day.
Each game of finals has been approached as a bonus in what was already a good season regardless of results.
Pakenham had a good start and was leading at halftime by two goals. Beaconsfield made some changes and unfortunately Pakenham was unable to stop the goal flow.
Scores: Pakenham 15 lost to Beaconsfield 30.
