ACCIDENT hotspots on ‘feeder’ roads around Pakenham will be targeted by police in a bid to reduce the number of crashes.
Senior Sergeant Steve Matthews said police would be closely monitoring roads such as the HealesvilleKooweerup Road, BeaconsfieldEmerald Road and BelgraveGembrook Road to try and improve motorists’ behaviour.
“These feeder roads and the Princes Highway are our top four major accident locations and we will continue to conduct highly visible patrols in those areas,” he said.
“We want motorists to take care at all times.”
