GRAND FINAL VENUES

Grand finals for all sections will be played on Saturday and the venues are set out below. Players, to be eligible to play in the finals, must have played at least one match in each half of the draw plus one other match. In each case the firstmentioned team is deemed to be the home team and is to supply a score card. Each team is to provide a pair of new balls. There will be a tiebreak game at six games all for all sets in all sections.
The suddendeath deuce in sections 14 to 19 will be replaced by a conventional advantage deuce. In the event of a draw, the match will be decided with a tiebreak game, singles for sections one to 13 and doubles for sections 14 to 19. Winning teams are responsible for delivering completed score cards to the Casey Tennis Centre immediately after the match. If a match is not finished on Saturday morning, the home team should keep the card until the match can be decided the following Saturday.
So that the waiting time before the presentations can be minimised, sections 14 to 19 will start at 9am instead of the usual 8am. Flag and trophy presentations will take place at the Casey Tennis Centre after the morning’s matches about 11.30am.
