CASEY Council will apply new parking rules to the Berwick Village commercial centre.
Berwick Village Chamber of Commerce president Michael Hall told the chamber’s October meeting that new signs would soon be going up.
Mr Hall said allday parking would be situated further away from the shops.
The new zones will be known during the first week in December and will be policed after that.
The times will apply between 8am and 6pm.
Mr Hall said chamber representatives had discussed the parking issue with council officers and found the changes acceptable.
He said there was a shortfall of 600 car spaces in the village and that parking was the single biggest concern the chamber faced.
