TWENTYONE members from the Cardinia Piranhas Swim Club travelled to the Cranbourne indoor heated pool on Saturday 14 October for the annual Casey Tigersharks Encouragement Meet.
All Piranhas members swimming exceptionally well at the wellorganised meet. Most of the Cardinia Piranhas squad were novice swimmers who had never experienced racing against other swim clubs before and after a long day they finished tired but happy.
Nearly all swimmers beat their personal best times, some by up to 10 seconds, and three swimmers finished in the medals.
Amy Wallace won a bronze medal in backstroke, Kellie Gardiner a bronze in butterfly and in breaststroke and Jacinta Rich a bronze in freestyle and in backstroke.
