LANG Lang’s new BassGas plant has been welcomed by Nationals Bass candidate Jacky Abbott.
Ms Abbott toured the facility recently and said it would help meet a growing demand. She said it was great for the local economy to have such a lucrative local operation.
“The BassGas project has established a strong presence in the community and has created many jobs,” Ms Abbott said.
Premier Steve Bracks officially launched the $750 million project last month. Mr Bracks said the project had created more than 300 jobs during construction with another 60 steady jobs in the region, providing a boost to the local economy.
