LAST Tuesday game for Drouin Golf Club women was altered to a ninehole strike because of the heat, but good scores were recorded.
President Audrey welcomed Jill Greenland who presented Irene Morgan with her Star Medal, won the week before.
A grade winner with 32 1/2 nett was Jill Brenchley, who despite the heat, went on to play the 18 holes and broke her handicap.
Runnerup was Shirley Todd with 34 1/2 nett.
Bgrade winner was Mildred Lyon with 34 nett and the runnerup was Heather Fitzpatrick with 34 1/2 nett.
Nearest the pin on the 14th was Poss Leeson.
Downtheline balls went to Nonna Scott, Nerida Hammond, Betsy White and Mary Tymensen.

MATCH PLAY

The 16 to qualify for match play are: Shirley Todd v Sue Hatfield; Jill Brenchley v Kay Grieve; Glenda Warren v Joyce Pierrehumbert; Mildred Lyon v Marion Devlin; Nerida Hammond v Di Baskett; Betsy White v Pam Pratt; Heather Fitzpatrick v Robyn Eacott; Poss Leeson v Tracie Wright.

THURSDAY RESULTS

The ninehole seniors’ competition was won by Marion Devlin with 22 points.
Runnerup was Olive Reid 19. Pam Pratt, Ann Roberts, Meg Blanchard and Ethel Manly all on 18 points.
Last week was the final day for annual competitions and this week is the first round of the Downtowner Summer Competition, the best four out of seven rounds.
Hit off time as usual for the first two rounds. Hitoff times for rounds three to seven can be from 8am or earlier to no later than 10am.
Members are reminded of the over 50s Cup and barbecue lunch this Thursday and Charity Day on 1 December, a fourballbestball event.
Gifts for the stall will be appreciated.
