RETURNED Bass MP Ken Smith believes a willingness to listen and respond to community opinion was the catalyst for voters to give him their support in the State Election.
Mr Smith held off a concerted challenge from ALP candidate John Anderson and a host of other candidates to successfully set up his fifth election victory.
He increased the Liberals’ hold on Bass, one of the most marginal seats in Victoria before the 25 November poll.
“I looked at what people were interested in and showed I was prepared to listen,”a delighted and motivated Mr Smith told the Gazette.
