FIREFIGHTERS from Gembrook and Pakenham Upper brigades may see their names up in lights.
Crews helped out during recent filming of the upcoming Hollywood movie Where the Wild Things Are, parts of which were shot in the local district.
CFA volunteers stood by during a number of overnight filming sessions in Gilwell Park, Gembrook, to make sure simulated fires and explosions for the film did not result in real fires.
Members are hoping the brigade names will appear in the credits of the movie.
Fame beckons for firefighters
